When you start an Intel application, Rosetta 2 will convert the app in realtime and seamlessly make it M1 compatible, only noticeable by a slight delay the first time the app is used. The company created a software conversion utility, called Rosetta 2, which enables a Mac with Apple Silicon to use apps designed for a Mac with an Intel processor.
What is most remarkable about this radical change in architecture is the smooth application transition Apple offers. The same microprocessor architecture Apple developed for the iPhone, now lets the M1 MacBook and MacBook Air run cool, while boasting long battery life, all desirable laptop features. You can display a short preview of each note’s contents (text and/or images) in the sidebar, making it easy to remember at a glance what each note was about. The ability to view All Notes (or all the notes within a category/project), and easily flick between them at high speed, makes Evernote incredibly powerful when working with large databases. The most pressing feature (and the one reason I haven’t migrated from Evernote to Agenda already) is the Evernote-style note list/sidebar.
